Hardt Electric - Featured in US Builders Review
When David Hardt was elected president-elect of NECA in 2013, Peter stepped up and became chief operating officer of Hardt Electric. “At that same time, we began working with MCA, a consulting firm out of Grand Blanc, Michigan, to instill the Agile Construction Process (AGC) into our firm,”says David. “We’ve had a lot of exciting transitional elements happening here in the past few years with me becoming president of NECA, Peter taking over the leadership and instituting a new management process.” To read more click here.



Graybar - Chicago District Strategic Planning Session

Naperville, Ill. - July 2016: The Chicago District of Graybar completed a 2-day strategic planning session that MCA, Inc. led and facilitated for their Leadership team.  The leaders of the District and its Branches developed detailed plans for achieving their financial goals, through the way they better service and understand their customers.  In other words, the group thought and worked hard to connect the dots between Graybar’s process improvements and Graybar’s customers reduction in cost.  The group will be focusing for the next 6 months to put these plans in place, as well as ensure that each Branch in the district is “Agile Certified” to better understand what matters to their customers.

MCA Customers In The News - David A. Hardt of Hardt Electric Begins his Term As NECA President

Chicago, Ill. - January 2015: Forty-one years ago, when David A. Hardt sat down with his brother Bill and a friend to discuss his future, he was at a crossroads. He and Bill were getting their company, Hardt Electric Inc., off of the ground, and he wanted to make the most of his time in the electrical industry. After a few ideas were floated, he suggested getting involved with the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). He could go to meetings, serve in the leadership, and maybe even one day become NECA president. Fast-forward to 2015, and Hardt is doing just as he predicted. He will succeed Dennis F. Quebe as NECA’s 33rd president this month.


Solar panels will be installed on 35,000 square feet of roof space by Hardt Electric

Chicago, Ill. - August 13, 2014: The ICA Greenrise building has raised $600,000 for a project to put nearly 500 solar panels on its roof, and will unveil the panels next month as part of its "Sustainable September" initiative. The panels will be installed on 35,000 square feet of roof space by Hardt Electric and be unveiled at a Sept. 24 ceremony, when they'll go online.

F. B. Harding Receives 2013 IEC/CNA Safety Award  
The Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. (IEC) is pleased to announce that F. B. Harding, Inc. of Rockville, Maryland, received the 2013 IEC/CNA Safety Award (Category 3) during the 56th Annual IEC National Convention and Electric Expo in Portland, Oregon. F.B. Harding is a member of IEC’s Chesapeake Chapter which covers the Mid-Atlantic.    


Interstates Companies Named ABC’s 2013 Contractor of the Year    
Interstates Companies, Sioux Center, Iowa, was named Associated Builders and Contractors’ (ABC) 2013 Contractor of the Year during the 24th annual Excellence in Construction Awards ceremony, which was held Feb. 11 in Maui, Hawaii.
